Ok so this might be a subject that I can’t really comment on as I have no experience in the matter. Also, I know that everyone has a view on it.
Breastfeeding…
One thing that I do not dispute is that breast is best (if you can do it) and I have every admiration for women that feed their children this way, I just couldn’t breast feed for medical reasons.
However when opening one of my sisters delightful magazines (comic would probably be a better description), my stomach twisted in the image that was displayed in front of me.

I know that everyone has their views. And there may be some that feel that this is totally acceptable, but for me seeing a young adolescent sucking on his mother’s tit was not and would never be appropriate. Above all why did she feel the need to sell her story to a magazine? How the hell will this poor kid ever live a normal life again? He will be forever known as a complete “mothersucker” or “Milky Bra Kid”.
Even worse, the woman also feeds her husband this way with the argument that the breast milk prevents cancer. Ok, so this might be the case (I’ve not looked into the research). But as one of my friends pointed out – if she has to do it, why not serve it up in a cup (porcelain, not underwired)?
This is just not an image I’m going to be able to shake off quickly….And I’m only just getting over Jimmy Saville…..
That’s hilarious I hope that my son and I are speaking when he is a teen but feeding.? And t’other half callable me excessive for still feeding at a year!
That is gross! Maybe the story was set up for the money… I can’t see people doing that for real! LOL
Perhaps it was a fake – but there was a picture. Mind you I wasn’t going to look toooo close….Like I say, the image is still haunting me!

LOL to ‘Bitty’! I’m not sure there would be another human in the world who would think that’s ok. I mean there comes a point in time when being naked in front of your kids probably isn’t acceptable. I’ll not be googling that one to see the pics anyway.

I have got to say I really can not see what benefits a mother feeding a teenager and definitely her husband would have. Breastfeeding helps prevent breast, ovarian and cervical cancer but I have never seen research till a teenager.
I am quite shocked it is not classed as abuse at that age, It seems very wrong to me. I work with breastfeeding mums everyday and I can not get my head round it
My God what is the world coming to? Has everyone gone mad? Breastfeeding a teenager and husband sounds like it should be on an X rated film!!!! Not that I would know of course!!
good lord – what quality rag was this article published in?! Teenage son is dodge enough, but her husband too?!?! That really blurs the line between your boobs being equipment for feeding and sexual objects.
